These raku fired tiles feature "words to live by". Measuring ~4"x4", they are often purchased in multiples and/or collected over time. Each has an imbedded hanger for easy wall mounting.

An alternative gift when looking for the "right thing to say", your customers will find them well priced under $25.

Raku fired metallic sheens cross the surface of this candle plate. Four words of inspiration adorn each edge to surround the beeswax candle. The candle is held in place with raffia for a quick gift idea and a great gift for those who enjoy quiet reflection.

This 5"x5" mirror is a great seller. The perfect little way to give yourself a positive message each day. Four different words of inspiration are impressed into the tile, surrounding the mirror. The mirror is fixed to the tile with silicone which also acts as a rubber bump-on once hung on the wall. As the tiles, the hanger is fixed into the clay.

Various 4-word combinations are randomly chosen for your order.

Tip: These mirrors sell exceptionally well when displayed in groupings of 6 or more mirrors. It is common to sell several mirrors in a single sale. Keeping stock on hand is recommended.

Embrace

This plaque is raku fired using a matte copper glaze which reveals the subtle curves of this embracing couple. The flames of the firing process leave variations over the surface making each plaque different from the next.

A sweet and moving gesture of two people in each others arms.

A wire hanger is fashioned on the back to allow the piece to sit flush on the wall for hanging.

These handsculpted beads are well suited to the look of RAKU. Crackled surfaces and metallic sheens are quick to catch your eye when displayed . Customers often comment on the unique look created by the firing. The pendants are stung onto waxed cotton cording accented by small glass beads. The cording is slip- knotted to allow the wearer to put it over their head, then adjust to a comfortable length, ranging from 15" to 19". Two styles are available as shown.

B - Teardrop - Words of inspiration are impressed into the back of this bead, to be worn face-down as a quiet reminder for the wearer.

A very stong selling item. Well priced. Appeals to a wide age range.
With no metal findings, and made of clay, glass and cotton...this pendant is perfect for those customers with allergies or sensativities.

The dramatic lines created by the horse hair firing process was too beautiful to limit to pottery, so we created these lovely pendants. The handsculpted bead is burnished prior to firing, leaving it very smooth to the touch. The pendant measures approximately 1.5 " by 1". It is free hanging off the black rubber chain by a wire finding hidden inside ( chain measures 16" in length with basemetal lobster clasp)

Due to the serendipitous firing method, the resulting patterns are always different, front and back. This makes Pendant A reversible.

Pendant B, also handscupted and burnished smooth, has a geometric feel, with the open "windowed" centre. The rubber chain is strung right through the pendant, which keeps the necklace nicely rounded on the wearer.

Horse Hair Earrings

Our horse hair earrings are very popular. Very light weight, these beads are also handsculpted and accented with small glass beads.

Sterling silver earring wires are used to finish them. The horse hair patterns resulting from the firing are slightly irregular, making them perfect for those customers who love finding "something different".

Size: each bead measures ~ 3/8" x 3/8"

The perfect companion piece for both of our horsehair pendants and for those who love to have a matching set of earrings/necklace.

Adorable, and colourful, these raku fired plaques measure approx. 4"-5" by 3"-6". Two story houses, row houses, and detached houses all seem to be swaying with the breeze.

Order by size. We create a number of styles in each size ( A, B, C).

We will ship an assortment in the size of your choice or will put together a mix for you. You decide.

We recommend a minimum of 12 houses to start. A grouped display generates a great deal of attention for these colourful little tiles.

These wall plaques are tried and true sellers for us. Bright and cheery, they are a lovely piece of wall art.

We suggest displaying these in groupings of 8 or more, and wherever possible keeping a candle lit to show their true charm.

Raku fish tiles have been a big seller for years. These three sizes of fish make a great "gift to self" for your customers. The various sizes will allow them to create a "school" of fish that will easily adorn that odd space in their home. Bathrooms are by far the most popular choice for these fishes.

You'll have fun helping them to decide on the right sizes and swim direction...these fish swim left and right!
